What is a live
webcast course?
WECA offers the
convenience and cost-savings of distance learning electrician training using
our Get Wired! Connect to Learning courseware. Get Wired! students complete
courses through a combination of lecture and discussions taught via "live
webcast" in a virtual classroom environment, plus hands-on lab
activities conducted in person.
Get
Wired! live webcast courses
allow WECA
to accommodate the training needs of students who don’t live close to a
training center location, or who simply enjoy the convenience of being able to take a course from the comfort of their home or
office.
Get Wired! Connect to Learning DEMO:

Get Wired! live webcast courses are ideal for students who travel for
work. No
matter where you live or work, you can take a live
webcast course from the comfort of your own home or office as long as you
have access to high speed internet such as DSL or cable and your computer meets
the specifications required.
When you participate in a live webcast course, you attend all classes from home with the exception of one or two on-site classroom training sessions. During your onsite classroom training sessions, you will
complete hands-on labs and activities as well as take your midterm or final exam. Other quizzes and exams are
completed online during the course.
